With the support of the Government, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (“HKADC”) is developing more arts spaces for the arts community. The HKADC is now looking for an Operation Assistant to support operation of the Tai Po Arts Centre (TPAC).

Responsibilities:

• To support Tai Po Arts Centre General Manager on operation of TPAC
• To handle booking, and provide venue and technical support services of public hiring facilities
• To assist in organising event, if any, of TPAC
• To man the reception counter of TPAC and handle public enquiries
• To perform any other duties as directed by supervisors

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in technical arts, cultural management or related disciplines with 1 year working experience
• Experience in arts administration, theatre arts or knowledge in theatre operation will be an advantage. Fresh graduate with less experience will also be considered
• Familiar with MS Office applications and Chinese word processing
• Strong sense of responsibility, interpersonal skill and multi-tasking
• Irregular working hours are required

The internship period is 12 months.
