Mission
Attend to Operations daily work including Seafreight & Airfreight, in compliance with company policies, coordinate and monitor site operations activities as a whole.
Continue to develop customer relationship through indoor activities to maintain customer relationship and try to look for additional business opportunities to support regional businesses.
Role & responsibilities
1. To provide quality service and support to ensure smooth operation of the dept in a timely and effective manner, including but not limited to :
a. Handle enquiries from client, overseas agency / networks, carriers etc
b. Prepare quotation to local customers upon receipt of inquiries.
c. Arrange export booking with carriers / co-loaders as requested by overseas agency / networks
d. Process customers’ orders, prepare DO, and invoices to customers / overseas agency / networks promptly and accurately
e. Follow up with client & customs broker to ensure cargo pass through declaration smoothly
f. To be responsible and provide solutions to resolve the deals.
g. To avoid any penalties / losses in case of urgent and difficulty.
h. Issue charge list to client before or once cargo release by customs
i. Issue debit note/invoice to client on time and release cargo ASAP
j. Track and trace cargo status and provide updates to all concern parties
k. Send pre-alert on time
2. To ensure data accuracy and maintain a complete and update records of shipments and customer details in a timely manner:
a. CW1 �C including shipment data, WIP, Accrual Cost, etc
b. Provide shipment details and schedule to overseas agency / networks or client
c. Check with procurement team for pricing updates, routings and be responsive to clients, overseas agency / networks
3. Work closely with supervisor to report any issues / problem / complaints from client, overseas agency/networks, that need to be addressed at first instant. Provide all supporting documents including email or others to supervisor for investigation.
4. Be responsible for own safety and that of others, and as such be respect to the applicable health & safety rules and to report any risk situations.
5. Perform ad-hoc duties/tasks as assigned by the Manager/Company.
Profile
Knowledge
- Language: Chinese + basic oral and written in English
- Familiar with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Offices applications
- Experience in Freight Forwarding industry (both Air and Ocean)
- Basic knowledge of customs brokerage
- Global Operating System �C CW1
- Various types of merchandise transport documents Aptitudes
- Good Interpersonal & Communication skills
- Compliance with requirements

- Be available on ad hoc / sudden issues
- Be Pro-active and willing to learn
- Good customer Services & presentation skills
