[Operations Director, Taiwan]
This new incumbent for manufacturing and supply chain must
ï¬ With strong strategic manufacturing management and operations background to manage tolling services and business operations in Taiwan
ï¬ Be dynamic to carry on the progressive needs of Company, like:
[Position Objective]
1. Business Operations
1.1 Define the resources, means, methods, tools and processes to monitor the most effectively the whole supply chain
1.2 Take ownership of the export operations
1.3 Establish excellent QA/QC systems to deliver high quality goods
1.4 Alert on non-compliance of cargo vs registration or regulations
1.5 Find solutions to match with business needs or corporate S/C constraints
1.6 Facilitate the implementation of the new product launching
1.7 Review all S&Mâs forecasts to ensure they are aligned with Businessâ target and S/C allocation
1.8 Suggest improvements and evolutions of the logistics chain for better values
1.9 Execute new and developing business models and execute properly
2. Manufacturing Operations
2.1 Manage and liaison all the tolling services providers, formulation plants and TG Synthesis supplier & their locations.
2.2 Manage all the products needs of local and international.
2.3 Work closely with Global Tolling Management to actively evaluate, on-board and develop local tolling partners
2.4 Build and maintain a strong long-term partnership with the vendors

2.5 Obtain the best possible cost of tolling, prices of TG and all other ingredients
2.6 Ensure product quality of tolling service providers is up to Companyâs requirement and continue to strive for improvement and advancement
2.7 Support Global Sourcing in vendor selection and qualification
3. People Management & Relationships
3.1 Promotes a culture that encourages good performance, having in mind company´s values by delegating and empowering staff.
3.2 Coach them or facilitate coaching from other seniors in the Company for achieving results & platform. While Company encourages some reporting lines outside of the Country, ensure proper coordination and alignment with all.
3.3 Evaluates the staff´s performance regularly with Talent Review Succession Planning & work with Corporate Executive Committee.
3.4 Identify key talents and build a career and development plan for key employees working close with local and corporate HR.
3.5 Identify performance issues and set up specific action plans to resolve them working together with local HR and Department Heads in that region
4. External Relationships
4.1 Keeps good name of the company among competitors, vendors, government, clients and any other public or private agencies.
4.2 Attract good talents from the industry to Company
4.3 Serves as the primary spokesperson and representative for the organization.
4.4 Act as a âGreat Ambassadorâ for the company in the countries under the scope
