How will you make an impact?
Responsible of the operations training program for the production personnel, including verbal assessments, administration of written assessments, and skills based training exercises on the Production floor.
What will you do?
- Leads and coordinates the execution and documentation of training records according to current Good Documentation Practices (GDP’s).
- Executes activities for Learning Management System (LMS) - assigning training requirements, generates reports as required, etc.
- Assessment and revision of training items (curricula, skills assessments, etc.)
- Provides training to production personnel.
- Maintains training status of production personnel.
- Ensures customer expectations are met for the quality of the final GMP’s document and the implementation schedule, i.e. timely data entry.
- Continuous assessment of training efficacy via on-the-floor observation.
- Development and continuous improvement of training materials such as Power Point presentations, training videos, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Cross-functional harmonization of training curricula to allow for skills to be used in several departments.
- Development and maintenance of new employee orientation and training schedules to facilitate rapid and thorough on boarding.
How will you get here?
Education
Bachelor’s degree, preferable.
Experience
Five (5) years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical environment or other highly regulated industry required. Experience in GMP’s and GDP’s office preferred. One (1) to three (3) years of exposure to manufacturing or quality environment and prior experience in on-the-job training role.
Equivalency: Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Knowledge in GMP’s and FDA regulations.
- Highly effective verbal and technical written communication skills.
- Expert presentation skills to present information to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, including tact to handle sensitive matters.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with others to achieve goals and expectations.
- Ability to resolve issues independently, and to engage others as needed in a productive / constructive manner.
- Comprehensive knowledge of sterile production operations. Experience working on broad multidisciplinary teams and/or groups.
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills. Self-starter, mature, independent and dependable
- Strong computer/ software skills (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
