As a Lean Continuous Improvement Site Leader, you will be responsible for: Leading the Lean Continuous Improvement program for the Newark/Glasgow Manufacturing Plant to deliver improved results in Cost, Quality and Customer Service Developing Continuous Improvement roadmap for the site and implementation plan for the next 5 years. Leading and coaching a team of Operations Managers and Lean Leaders to drive OEE & OLE improvement efforts with their teams, train teams on common standards, planning methods and improvement approaches to their operations. Partnering with Finance and Program Management teams to deliver on Productivity goals. Leading improvement workshops, kaizen events, chalk circles, VSM and other improvement events. Building skills and capabilities of others in Lean methods, Productivity and OEE This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers Know, Can do and Coach on Lean and Six Sigma improvement methods. Plan, leads and facilitate workshops and improvement events Know and can coach others on all aspects of CI/Performance Improvement systems. Have an understanding and experience with automated systems, software and controls, industrial, chemical or mechanical engineering and support of chemical process systems and automated, semi-automated and manually operated manufacturing equipment Have project and program management skills to ensure on time delivery or corrective action. Can analyze and identify improvement areas and approaches through lean methods, statistical analysis, or Six Sigma techniques. Required skills to have for the success of this role Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Process Engineering or equivalent experience required Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in manufacturing operations and leading Continuous Improvement systems, productivity programs, and teams to drive Plant performance. Certifications in Lean Leadership and associated tools (A3, Kaizen, VSM, TPM, six sigma, etc.) Willing to travel up to 10% to vendor and other plant sites At Siemens Healthineers, we value those who dedicate their energy and passion to a greater cause.
