To ensure effective usage of risk system across the company and maintain operational risk capabilities to meet both AIA Group and regulatory requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage strategic and operational risks to ensure they are identified, analyzed, communicated and mitigated.
  • Propose risk treatment plans and monitor the execution status.
  • Implement and maintain operational risk tolerance and risk limits.
  • Lead or coordinate the development and implementation of operational risk and internal control policies and programs to enhance AIA China’s risk management capability
  • Conduct risk assessment on major projects and initiatives
  • Organize Risk & Control Assessment exercises and work with business functions on gathering and analysis of Op. Risk data
  • Establish and maintain a process to capture, assess and trend loss incidents occurring in AIA China
  • Manage C-ROSS Pillar II across the organization, including tracking regulatory development, organizing SARMRA and IRR reporting, leading gap remediation, advising management on improvement plan, etc
  • Prepare regulatory and internal reports related to operational risk management.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and other requirements.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor or above degree with major in relevant discipline such as Insurance, Risk Management, Audit and etc.
  • At least 8 years insurance or banking experience in Operational Risk Management.
  • Ability to think laterally, to learn quickly and demonstrate commitment to high quality delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skill.
