Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Risk and Control Analyst for our Asia Operations. The incumbent will work closely with the APAC and International Operations teams, and other governance/control functions such as Audit, Risk and Compliance. The role covers an extensive scope with key responsibilities as follow:

• To assist in Operations Risk, Compliance and Audit related liaison and initiatives
• To be able to handle independently risk incident documentation/escalation and related enquiries across Asia and International groups
• To perform trend and performance analysis and produce management reports for various forums
• To provide support to Regulatory / Compliance / Governance / Control-related initiatives as required
• To manage quality assurance program across Asia Operations with an extension to the offshore teams
• To support ad-hoc and regular regulatory activities and initiatives as required in the region

The Candidate

• University degree holder with a minimum 5 years of experience in the Financial Services sector, preferably in Operations or Operational Risk functions
• Possessed a basic understanding of operational risk and control in an operation of major scale
• Experienced in development and production of various risk metrics and KRIs
• Experienced in management reporting for senior management
• Ability to lead and influence without authority
• Strong communications and analytical skills with a detailed mindset
• Ability to work with team members from various functional and cultural backgrounds
• The position will be based in Hong Kong.
