Position Objective :

1. Complements first line of defence (FLOD) in the review of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & Watchlist Filtering (WLF) alerts triggered by Nice Actimize system within the defined TAT (Turnaround Time) accurately and achieve the required production benchmark
2. Act as enabler to Operations FLOD in the resolution of ongoing AML and WLF matters
3. Collaborate with AML COE on Operations information gathering to resolve critical compliance items
4. Supports smooth implementation of AML & Sanctions policies and procedure

Roles and Responsibilities:

Review AML & WLF escalated from FLOD

1. Review, investigate and assess:

• WLF alerts escalated by FLOD
• enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on high risk transactions
• alerts/escalations in context to ongoing KYC refresh activities

2. Prepare detection alert report on suspected Watchlist name matches.

3. Prepare and collate all information in accordance with guidelines provided by AML COE to support clearance and escalation

4. Highlight and report any suspicious findings detected during the review of the alerts.

Review of transaction monitoring rule-based alerts

1. 1st level of transaction monitoring and investigation

2.Prepare detection alert report on suspected dockets in alignment with AML COE guidelines

Others

1. 1st level review of ongoing reverse/ bulk screening alerts

2. Ad hoc supports required for ongoing quality assurance reviews, including but not limited to peer/ FLOD review and new joiner

3. Provide guidance & training for new joiners.

4. Document new guideline for internal reference upon processing.

5. Preparing reports & monitoring service level for alerts.

6. Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by immediate superior to meet business requirements.
