- Work with the Head of OIT to develop a strategy to deliver annual objectives in support of business objectives defined by Group Operations- Support the development of Operations data, reporting and analytics as a key asset and differentiator for AIA to deliver superior business and CX outcomes
- Lead engagement with the operations teams (e.g., department heads) within Business Units to translate Group Minimum Standards and strategic targets into actionable roadmaps
- Participate in focused sprints as an SME leading a Workstream or supporting the Workstream Leads and engagement with the BUs
- Support Group projects and initiatives as a Subject Matter Expert – including Customer Experience (CX) Transformation
Responsibilities
- Drive the establishment of a Community of Practice for Ops Process Excellence
- Create and maintain a knowledge library to organize and document Best Practices for Operations processes and KPIs across all Business Units (BUs) - including focused Best Practice Sharing events
- Identify skill and development needs of Ops resources within the BUs and develop training programs
- Lead deep-dive workshops with Group Functions and BUs to identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for step change; driving our automation objectives including the application of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and related tools/techniques including Process Mining
- Provide good governance over data and servicing practices across operations in AIA including working with Group functions including Compliance, Audit, ESG, etc.
- Identify and drive execution of Analytics / AI use cases aligned with the Group AI Strategy
- Manage the Group Operations Budget on behalf of the Head of Group Operations
Knowledge, Abilities, Skills
- Operations SME with at least 10 years' relevant experience in the Insurance industry and an SME role
- Track record of successfully delivering change across different geographies and cultures
- Lean Six Sigma experience, certification a plus
- Fluent spoken and written English required
- Strong influencing skills to engage partners and stakeholders in the delivery of key goals
- Effective communication and relationship skills to engage Group and LBU Exco level stakeholders
- Experience managing a team
