It has been agreed that our AstraZeneca UK Commercial head office will move from Luton to Pancras Square, London in early 2022. Our move to Pancras Square offers us the strongest possible platform to transform the lives of patients in the UK, as the country’s leading biopharmaceutical company. It will bring AstraZeneca UK closer to our customers, partners and stakeholders in the UK’s healthcare environment, as well as foster greater collaboration with the wider AstraZeneca footprint.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver national budget (sales target) and key performance metrics
  • Ensure a consistent and timely approach to business planning across the business unit
  • Be responsible for the delivery of systems and business processes that enable the Regional Business Director structure to be successful
  • Be a member of the leadership team 
  • Deliver accurate, insight driven financial forecasts to senior management
  • Be responsible for driving implementation of business strategies 

Essential for the role

  • Degree level of NHS qualification
  • Full driving license
  • Sales leadership and/or Marketing experience
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Project management
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams
  • Demonstrate leadership without authority UK market and NHS knowledge


Desirable for the role

  • Performance management 
  • Evidence of innovative initiatives to partner with the NHS
  • Experience of working with third party providers
  • ABPI qualification
  • Degree level of NHS qualification
