This position is to assist Station Manager to manage and drive ocean operation run in an effective way and collaborate with ocean carriers and subcontractor to deliver our services in excellent quality to our internal and external customers. Lead to achieve business objectives.

Job Duties:

- To monitor & manage daily ocean freight operations, maintain existing business and develop new business, including ocean freight, local service

- To lead the team to handle daily job, including shipment planning, booking, quotation, monitor shipment status till end of the inco-terms and complete every job until collecting payment

• To improve satisfaction of customer, handle customer's service issues, coordinate with sales, accounting, sub-contractor, and oversea offices/agents
• To optimize local resources to generate profit, maintain good relationship with supplier, including liner, co-loader, trucker, broker, domestic warehouse and distribution
• To proactive to work out customized and competitive solution to secure new business
• To standardize ocean product of Shanghai office and proactively promote our product to customer and agent
• To drive continuous improvement on staff productivity through efficient work practices and KPI performance monitoring to comply with specific customer requirements and manage resources allocation run in an effective way

- To accomplish other tasks assigned by the Station Manager

Desired Skills and Experience:

• At least 8 years and above relative experience in freight forwarding industry, familiar with ocean freight operation procedures
• Strong sense of responsibility and customer orientation mind-set
• Good communication and coordination skill, and teamwork-spirited
• Detail oriented personality, and the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to lead a team with proper people management skill
• Colledge degree and above, proficient spoken and written English
• Proficiency in MS-office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
