The Sebel Sydney Chatswood is currently seeking a a dedicated hospitality professional as our new Operations Manager in a Full Time capacity.

The Sebel Sydney Chatswood is a luxury apartment style property which is located in the heart of Chatswood and hosts both residents and guests. The Sebel Sydney Chatswood offers business and leisure guests luxury accommodation, as well as conferencing and events space. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Reporting directly to the General Manger, you will be responsible for Assisting Front Office, Night Audit and Reservations teams in the successful operation of their department with a key focus on customer service, customer relations, sales, correct room allocation, Front Office reports, innovative packages, yield management; ledger administration, staff costs, reporting, reservation systems.

You will also be responsible for booking and communicating with contractors and managing maintenance compliance and legal requirements. This role does also require to have great communication skills as you will be required to communicate effectively to the chairman and the strata committee. This is a rare and exciting opportunity which will allow you to further develop your leadership and organisational skills and get you ready for your next role.

WHO ARE YOU?

You are a naturally confident person who is able to approach people and initiate conversation along with a strong knowledge of hotel operations. Having previous managerial experience, you are expected to be highly organised and maintain the ability to effectively shift and manage the property as per the business demands. You will project a professional image at all times through personal presentation and display excellent interpersonal skills whilst being guest/resident orientated and service minded.

You will have the ability to handle tasks carefully and correctly. You will demonstrate versatility in responding to guest requests and situations whilst remaining calm in high volume work situations. Lastly, you will be committed to undertake growth and further development.
