Eaton’s Power Components Division is currently seeking an Operations Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Beaver, PA facility. Relocation from within the United States is offered for this opportunity. Position Overview: This position is responsible for overall leadership and management of manufacturing (fabrication & assemblies) at the Beaver site and for operations at two Service Centers in WV and IN. Overall responsibility for leading Operations team in order to achieve or exceed annual site objectives. Drives performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals. In this function you will: Lead all operations activities in order to meet site objectives (annual profit plan and monthly forecasts). Support development and execution of plans to achieve world class high five metrics (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Inventory). Support a Zero Incident Safety culture within the plant and champion assigned EHS categories. Create an environment to engage employees and ensure high levels of employee satisfaction. Develop plans to increase productivity and continually improve the product cost structure. Support and leverage core EBS processes to advance maturity of Operations function. Champion and sponsor continuous improvement events to improve operations and meet targeted productivity goals. Determine actions needed to support changes in production demand and flex resources and costs appropriately. Manage budget for operations function. Support advancement of OpA maturity of the site to help achieve Eaton model site status. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or related field from an accredited institution Eight (8) years manufacturing experience Five (5) years experience in related areas: quality, production, continuous improvement or engineering in a plant or experience as a plant manager Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing management role Experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or Business Administration Experience in electrical assembly manufacturing Position Criteria: Working knowledge of manufacturing procedures/practices including Industrial Engineering principles, production planning and Lean/Six Sigma Experience in ISO certified manufacturing assembly environment Proficient in driving Quality Control and Inventory Control Experience with budgeting, capital equipment analysis, cost accounting, and project cost analysis Good communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customers Proven Leadership skills – capable of leading change initiatives and drive a high-performance culture We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
