Eaton’s B-Line Division is currently seeking an Operations Manager. This position is based at our Sherman, Tx. facility. Position Overview: Driving process improvements to ensure that we meet or exceed ISO 9001, and BVN standards. The role reports to the site’s Plant Manager, supporting our bolted framing value streams. This individual uses direct customer feedback to drive quality performance improvement in the eyes of the customer. In this function you will: Influence quality direction for the supported value streams Monitor and measure progress toward quality objectives and facilitate development of action plans to address root causes of negative trends and variances to the objectives Maintain existing external certifications and meet Eaton’s internal quality expectations Promote a Quality and Continuous Improvement culture by demonstrating ownership and accountability throughout the supported value streams Participate in the planning, development and execution of short term tactical and long-term strategic plans to meet value stream objectives Ensure appropriate quality processes and tools are in place and being utilized consistently, facilitating training as appropriate. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum of five (5) years of operations experience in a manufacturing environment Minimum of two (2) years of experience leading salaried and hourly employees Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
