Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
To participate in the daily management of the Surveillance operation, to play an active role in protecting the assets of Galaxy Macau; with particular emphasis on the security and integrity of the operation; Gaming and Cash Handling.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Capacity Act in the role of Assistant Vice President Surveillance;
- Minimize business risk by ensuring compliance with local legislation, internal policies and procedures and internal controls;
- Development and performance management of the management team and line staff through Workplace assessments (WPA) and appraisal systems;
- Create a ‘performance management’ environment through the implementation of appropriate company practices and processes;
- Provide mentoring and coaching to direct reports and line staff ensuring development and advancement;
- Recruitment of staff – sourcing, interviewing, testing; management and line staff;
- Review and follow up of all day to day operational matters, reports and investigations;
- Provide timely and accurate reports in the form of written and verbal content detailing statistical reporting, recommendations, information updates through Information technology and other company systems and databases;
- Work closely with Special Investigations team to ensure investigations are managed and co-ordinated with the operational team;
- Development of organizational standards, practices and strategies – strive to improve and streamline departmental operations through the continuous assessment of policies and procedures, work processes and program effectiveness/value;
- Manage, review and update departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s);
- Rostering – manpower levels ensuring operational effectiveness;
- Perform general administrative tasks as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 4 years experience in a management role within casino surveillance;
- 6 years experience in total within the casino industry, which should include 2 years within an Asian casino catering to junket operations;
- Performs quality control functions as per departmental standard;
- Ensures neatness and accuracy of all work.
