My client is one of the leading electronic manufacturers and would like to look for the Operations Manager to be based in Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam to oversee its plant's operation. 

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the operations P/L (Sales, profit, inventory, ITO, etc)
• Manage warehouse and inventory
• Instill a safety mindset
• Work closely with Program Management to closely support our key customers…support all customer audits and visits
• Ensure all products are manufacture to spec (discipline), run to takt time, and deliver all products on-time
• Ensure all quality controls (e.g., SPC) are in place to closely monitor the process and drive improvements.
• Recruit and develop an A-team
• Doing things right and doing the right things.
• Develop a can do culture/attitude
• Nurture and instill a lean six sigma mindset

Work Experience

• 8 years managing manufacturing operations, with five years in Vietnam and in an EMS environment
• BS in either Arts or Engineering degree
• Proficient in understanding and deploying Lean Six Sigma toolkits
• Proficient in root cause analysis, FMEA, PPAP, etc.
• Oral presentation and written skills
• Fluent Vietnamese and English. Chinese (either Mandarin or Cantonese) a plus
• Work well under pressure
• Hands-on executive. Someone that is not afraid to roll up their sleeves
