About Vericant
Vericant is an ed-tech startup company bringing modern technology to the English testing market. We are changing the industry using our cloud-based language assessment platform and our video production and delivery technology.

We want a resourceful individual who can help manage and improve our operations in Shanghai, while helping to contribute a little bit to our marketing efforts on the side. You will start by managing several part-time staff, and after several months you will be managing some full-time staff as well. Staff Management Resonsibilities:
• Manage Part-Time Staff, communicating in-person, via WeChat, and via email
• Manage local and foreign interns
• Give feedback on performance
Interview Preparation & Processing Responsibilities:
• Be accountable for the preparation of interview materials for each interview day
• Upload videos into Vericant’s processing system at the end of each day
HR Responsibilities:
• Recruiting, screening, hiring, and training
• Create a sustainable internship program in Shanghai
Marketing Responsibilities:
• Manage filming and editing of videos in English & Mandarin
• Manage student ambassador program
• Do sales presentations, attend exhibitions
• Update and improve website
• Event organization

Essential Skills:
• Highly organized
• Native Chinese language skills & strong English language skills
• Top-notch organization and communication skills
• Comfortable using Windows computers

Desired Skills:
• Comfortable using Google services such as Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets
• Comfortable using Asana
• Experience managing part-time staff
• Experience hiring and training part-time staff
• Experience doing project management
• Experience doing public presentations
• Experience producing marketing content (both text and video)
