General Purpose:

• Lead Operation teams in planning and executing new product ramps

• Drive ramp readiness with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, and Product Marketing teams.

• Plan capacity, ramp plan, and drive materials readiness to ensure part availability, quality and cost

• Communicate requirements, schedules, and supply plans to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain teams

• Leading all communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams.

  
  

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Manage all aspects of new supplier bring-up, qualification, capacity planning, assurance of supply and execution to project timelines/schedules

• Handle component readiness to ensure part availability, quality and cost

• Manage schedule health by driving weekly meetings with manufacturing partner for build planning and readiness, with input and support from cross-functional leads.

• Track readiness/risks: work with procurement teams and engineering teams on material down-selections, technical and production risks

• Communicate system requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with cross-functional teams.

• Report out on program updates on a weekly, monthly basis to all levels of the organization.

• Manage multiple complex programs - program management, facilitation, work prioritization, planning and task delegation

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and manufacturing partner to record, drive and ensure resolution of all technical and process issues.

• Influence product cost and product margin through material usage optimization projects.

  
  

Essential Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain management or product development in a hardware company.

• 5+ years of experience in managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines

• Working knowledge of all factory operations including IQC, SMT, Assembly, Test, and Packing

• Results oriented and attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management.

• Ability to travel up to 25%.
