Job Description

1. Vendor Management
• Responsible for the vendor risk lifecycle from on-boarding through to termination.
• Provide guidance and support for establishing and utilizing measures and metrics that monitor vendor performance to drive business improvement.
• Manage and steer vendor relationships including vendor scorecard development, monitoring and contract management. 
• Develop and implement process improvements with vendor to drive efficiency and quality
• Identify additional processes for outsourcing that align with company strategies, regulations and future initiatives
• Determine best pricing structure for company that keep costs down and drives vendor productivity. 


2. Budget
• Cost center responsibility for the functional areas of responsiblity
• Budget accountability of department projects/initiatives


3. Training and Quality
• Develop and steer coaching culture within Operations to ensure ongoing development discussions between managers and employees.
• Manage implementation and execution for a full onboarding training curriculum for Operations ranging from new hires to continuous education.  
• Manage training and quality control for entire Operations area
• Develop,  maintain  and coordinate all  training, training materials and quality control for outside vendor
• Provide on-site training resources to vendor as needed.


4. Compliance
• Assessing and managing risks / mitigating risks
• Regular assessment of risks in area of responsibility
• Implementation and maintenance of adequate risk mitigating measures according to the identified risks (for identified high risk entities and business units implementation of the specific Anti-Corruption Compliance program)
• ICS / Compliance: Implementation of all solution approaches for significant ICS deficiencies and Audit findings
• Ensuring successful implementation and maintenance of Compliance measures
• Support a sustainable Compliance-Environment and respective Management Culture by an efficient implementation and application of policies, guidelines and processes within area of responsibility e.g. provision of control processes to avoid violations of general and Compliance guidelines and remediation of possible violations
• Support and implementation of the DFS Compliance Program. Reward, appreciate and communicate Compliance efforts and achievements of employees  and react adequately and consistently to Compliance concerns
• Take responsibility and support adequate reaction to disciplinary measures in case of Compliance failures/gaps
• Lead by example: Set the right tone for the organization and take ownership, accountability and responsibility for behaviour and actions
Ensure sufficient processes to mitigate risks from human capital, e.g. by consistent application of disciplinary guidelines, monitoring frequency of rotations and ensuring appointment of appropriate candidates in sensitive areas


5. Strategy Optimization
• Promote a risk-aware culture; ensure efficient and effective strategy,  risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
• Strategize the future vision and execution plans  to ensure Operations continues its  viability in the face of rapidly changing customer expectations and behaviors, emerging market threats, technological innovation, as well as, changing profitability dynamics.
• Develop innovative ways to use information and segmentation to optimize customer experience while managing costs and driving revenue.
• Build strong relationships with key Product Managers, Directors, Senior Executives, and our parent company to enable strategic business forecast alignment and ongoing process improvement
