What will you do? As Branch Operations and Location Manager, Regional Solutions & Service you will manage service and solutions operations for the specific business segments within the branch. You will drive the successful planning and execution of required operations activities to achieve revenue, profit and productivity budgets / targets as well as customer and employee satisfaction goals. This role directs operational activities, exercising tight cost control and maximizing price realization, margin, profit and labor utilization. Your focus on strategy will be the key to your success! This role reports to the Branch General Manager and will be based in the Vancouver office. The general duties include: Develop strong internal and external customer relationships and identify needs and resolve issues by representing Siemens at executive level. Ensures compliance with Siemens’ guidelines for all operational aspects. Agrees targets with operation project staff and delegates defined responsibilities and authority. Leads the operations project team members to act according to the Business Conduct Guidelines and establishes a culture of trust and integrity. Develop and execute digitalization and standard service operations strategies. Drive execution of the business plan including revenue forecast, profit, cost control, asset management, and other financial deliverables based on targets. Achieve balanced operations targets (includes slip, absorption, utilization, rates, productivity, and headcount). Build and maintain a Service operations organization committed to customer and employee satisfaction and profitable growth across the Branch. Supervise and develop Project Management team members using company’s established project management methodologies and tools Attend and support Sales team in pre-tender cost reviews and sales strategies to optimize pre-tender savings. Schedules and runs Monthly Project Review (MPC) meetings, ensures risk is managed and new risks are identified during project execution and documents properly in the system. Ensure team executes and quotes deficiencies and repairs per Branch requirements. Ensure team operates and maintains assigned vehicles per the fleet policy. Successfully complete assigned training and ensure team completes assigned training as outlined in each person’s training path. Follow all safety requirements as outlined by Siemens as well as customers. What will you need to succeed? BS or MS in business or engineering or applicable degree preferred. Minimum of 5+ years of Fire industry knowledge preferred, or any of the following: Building Automation, HVAC, and Security systems. Experience in leading and managing a high performing team. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Proficient with MS Office. Familiarity and knowledge of building/ fire codes; Ensure compliance with all federal and local rules and regulations applicable to the geographic area as well as all company policies and procedures. Acts as a company representative and liaison to customers and local authorities. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and manage the dynamics of a complex organization. Strong problem-solving skills and ability. A familiarity with construction drawings and practices is a must. Valid driver’s License in good standing. About us.
