Hiring Immediately! $18.11 (includes shift differential) to start. ALSO Day One Benefits Offered! Eaton’s Electrical sector is currently seeking an Entry Level Operator to join our second shift team. This position is based at our Cleveland, TN facility. In this function you will: Fabricate parts per drawings, routings and work instructions. Utilize manufacturing information, determine necessary parts/inventory, fixtures/dies and obtain materials from stock areas. Perform quality checks consistent with the operator quality instructions using measuring instruments and/or templates. Operate auxiliary equipment such as automatic feeds, scrap cutters, conveyors, limit switches and safety equipment. Set, align and secure dies; set ram stroke. Use kanban and other replenishment systems to assure availability of parts. Maintain equipment, change tooling and make minor adjustments as necessary. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner; keep oil deposits off floor. Train new employees. Cross-train on various presses and equipment applicable to job classification. procedures and work instructions as well as the Eaton Safety Process. Position Criteria: Wear all personal protective equipment, effectively use machine guarding and observe all hygiene requirements as specified and directed. Work overtime as necessary. Perform work in a manner that supports Eaton’s Quality standards and systems. Be responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, and wearing proper PPE. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation Must not be on a written warning Employees can apply and be awarded a new role but must have a minimum of 6 months service time in their current role before moving to the new role Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience operating punch presses, turret presses and/or press brake Sufficient proficiency with precision-measuring equipment (e.g. calipers, tape measures) Competent in use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, drills, etc. Demonstrate proficiency with drawings and/or blueprints and in general operation and troubleshooting of the equipment.
