Ability to operates and troubleshoot all the equipment and services required by the site and supplied through the utilities equipment's.

Must demonstrate the knowledge to identify a problem when a deviation in any of the Utilities equipment takes place.  Perform the necessary adjustments and/or corrective action to address the situation and return the equipment's to normal operation.

Monitor the operation of the equipment's and generate the necessary service request to address any situation in a timely way.

(This section contains a list of five to ten primary responsibilities of this role that account for 5% or more of the work.  The incumbent will performed other duties assigned)

Operates and perform the necessary troubleshooting to the Utilities equipment to avoid service interruption.

Maintain working area clean and clean and organized as per 6S program.

Use Delta V system to monitor equipment and track performance.

Perform water system analysis and record utilities performance indicator such as steam pressure, compressed air pressure and other as per defined in the monitoring logs.

Issue working permits that may include hot working permit and/or confined space entry permit.

Reporting to the Utilities Supervisor.

Knowledge on Utilities Equipment such as, Chillers, Boilers, Compressed Air Compressors, Dryers, Cooling Towers, Potable Water, Electrical System and Emergency Generators.

Ability to write and read in English and Spanish.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft programs such as Word, Office, Excel and others.

Available to work rotating shift, weekends and holidays.

Good interpersonal relations, teamwork and result oriented.

Ability to perform minor repairs.

Education:

Essential:  Must have some mechanical skill; formal education in mechanical technology is preferable.  0 to 2 years of experience in Utilities equipment operation.

Desirable:  Technical degree in Electricity, Refrigeration or Industrial Mechanic with it required certification.

Job Experience:

Essential:  0 to 2 years of experience in a regulated industry.

Desirable:  At least 3 years of experience working with utilities equipment's.
