An Operator II, Manufacturing, is responsible for the manufacturing of products in accordance with standard operating procedures. Reporting to a Manufacturing Supervisor, the Operator II assists Thermo Fisher Scientific on the MTO (Made to Order) product finishing team.

The hours for this role will be predominantly shift work. Flexibility to fit production requirements will be necessary.

Position Summary: Work in a team based environment to perform all tasks related to the dispensing and packaging of enzymes and reagents for use in a research or commercial application. All tasks are performed following controlled protocols and all relevant information is recorded on dispensing forms using good documentation practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for the processing and dispensing of enzymes and reagents related to the kinase made-to-order product line
• Complete all work orders and dispensing forms as scheduled on a daily / weekly basis.
• Report to the Team Leader / Production Supervisor any safety or production related problems.
• Ensure lab hygiene and housekeeping is always maintained.
• Report and identify problems associated with machinery breakdowns.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures with impeccable adherence and report any problems with documentation.
• Notify Team Leader / Production Supervisor of packaging and consumable needs.
• Participate in appropriate meetings and discussions as required.
• All other reasonable tasks as may be requested by the Team Leader and/or the Manufacturing Supervisor.
