Job Description
The Role:
As a key support of the Optical and Sensing Technology Team, you will contribute significantly to the design of cosmetic lighting and 2D navigation, from the conceptual product front end, through product development and into successful mass production.

  • Contribute to the development of new products and technologies, bring innovation and new ideas
  • Evaluate new technologies, concepts, systems or components based on performance, user experience, risk, cost, reliability and manufacturability
  • Specify, design and qualify optical and sensing solutions from concept to manufacturing for Logitech products meeting cost, schedule and user experience
- Optical sensing system
- Optical mechanical system
- Cosmetic lighting system
- Color engineering system
  • Conduct design reviews, FMEA and 8D
  • Develop tools and setups to measure or characterize optical and sensing systems
  • Perform measurements & qualification
  • Collaborate with multi-competence engineering teams in a multi-site environment
  • Collaborate with factories to ensure smooth and efficient mass production


Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:
  • At least 3 years development experience in consumer electronics industry
  • Experience in Interface like USB/SPI/I2C/UART
  • Familiar with C/C++/Matlab
  • Know ARM cortex-Mx series
  • Know optics
  • Experience working in team, different functions and cultures
  • Fluency in English (written/spoken)
  • Autonomous, reliable, team and system oriented
  • Be creative
  • Good communication and personal organization skill (ex. self-motivation and time management)
  • Availability to travel

In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:
  • Know CAD tools
  • Capable of electrical circuit design and simulation
  • Expierence in non-sequential optical simulation and Tracepro

Education:
  • Bachelor degree above in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering or Physics
