Eaton’s North America Financial Services Division is currently seeking a Oracle OTC Functional Technical Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Beachwood, OH location. Position Overview: Eaton’s Oracle OTC Functional Technical Manager leads and supports the global Oracle GFSS OTC Functional team and partners with other GFSS Workstreams, Finance functional leaders, and IT Team to drive standardized financial best practices and processes through the implementation of our common Oracle Financial system. This position will be responsible for leading and managing long-term projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, providing functional expertise and solution design through gathering of requirements, analysis of proposed process and/or system changes, management of approved requirements specifications, configuration of proposed system changes, testing support, and gap resolution during the testing cycles. This position may also run or support ad hoc finance related projects such as new finance functionality enhancements, IT SOX support activities, and Operational Teams’ Finance activities. Over time, the position will be responsible for leading and supporting the GFSS OTC-related activities for the large-scale SAP implementation projects. In this function you will: Complete project related deliverables such as BR100 and MD50 creation and approval; complete setup and configuration of Oracle modules; Use of new configuration tools as applicable. Receive sign off from business and IT stakeholders prior to starting development. Follow GFSS Oracle project methodology and CCB driven governance processes including the test plan creation, system development life cycle, and regression testing. Support modules Receivables, Collections, Claims, Credit Management, and support all in and outbound Oracle-related boundary system applications Manage training and testing for Oracle R12 solutions in the areas of finance and accounting. Lead regression testing for global financial custom components. Coordinate OTC Functional team super users to test code changes as part of user acceptance testing prior to migrating code to Production. Use Oracle technical skills such as SQL skills to understand, support, and test integration between Oracle environments for financials. Prepare training content for functionality that has changed R12 and facilitate training with end users. Coordinate OTC Functional Team Members and end users for Oracle finance function for upgrade and implementation projects. Communicate project status for finance and own issue and risk closure. Perform production verification with end users to ensure that financial changes moved to Production are working as expected. The role requires consultant level presence. Oracle functional and technical skills are both desirable. The candidate must have the capability to learn Eaton financial practices by engaging with the business. Lead projects for new finance functionality requested by the business. Follow GFSS project methodology and complete project deliverables such as requirements documents, test scripts, and sign off documentation.* Coordinate with Eaton IT to ensure compliance with Oracle global release schedule. Work closely with the business to coordinate appropriate timing to project go-lives. Perform change management to document how business processes are going to change. Develops and improves IT and business processes to accomplish projects, meet schedules, resolve technical issues, and apply new technologies, tools, processes, and standards that meet the needs of the business. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. 1-2 years strong project management experience. 5-7 years business analyst or functional analyst experience No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered.
