An efficient order management, logistics and quote team that we will ensure a seamless process across the value chain thus ensuring a reliable and efficient service delivery to our customers. Our digital platform i.e. Industry Mall will drive the digital transformation in the automation of processes and fostering digital business thus allowing you to have more time to focus on your core business activities Mission/Function of the Role Processes customer inquiries and orders with the aim to increase customer satisfaction by accurate and on schedule customer supply and to ensure business and sales success for Africa business. Key Responsibilities of the role · Oversees customer orders in the ERP system and determines the delivery dates (technical clarification, commercial clarification incl. creditworthiness, export control checks, checking of delivery dates and confirmation, order confirmation to the customer) to fulfil the customer order at the requested date. · Control’s order-related compliance of the delivery dates and quantities to initiate proactive measures for optimizing delivery reliability in good time and to be always capable of providing [order] information. · Control’s delivery dates and initiates deliveries in a timely manner or, if necessary, handles back orders with automatic delivery collection to ensure delivery reliability to the customer. · Arranges quickest possible invoicing to the customer, performing the related post-calculation, controlling order cost receipt and utilizing the possibilities of additional charges to optimize the value flow and show a correct margin. · Plans the design of logistics and transport concepts with the customer in cooperation with logistics process planning, packaging planning and transport handling to safeguard the delivery process and minimize process costs. · Cooperates with all others involved and with interface partners and passing on all relevant information to keep themselves and others informed and create an optimum logistics chain. Increase Industry Mall awareness and promotes automated orders as well as self-quote Handle escalations pertaining to all orders and ensure SLA’s are adhered to. Issue commercial invoices, Pro Forma invoices and TAX invoices were applicable. Prepare letter of credit documents for customers or to banks where applicable. Analyzes and constantly optimizes the business processes to enhance performance. Establishes operational supplier relations, identifies, and resolves supplier conflicts. Establishes, monitors, updates, and benchmarks metrics, and derives and proposes measures to improve. Cooperates with the internal Procurement, Controlling and Logistics functions to ensure acceptance of and adherence to SC processes, guidelines, and tools. Qualifications/Experience: Diploma or equivalent 3 -5 years SAP and PMD experience 3-5 years of Shipping or logistic experience Experience in customer service is a must Reporting Manager The candidate will be reporting to the Customer Services Manager Our culture: Our culture embraces different perspectives, open debate, and the will to challenge convention.
