In this role you will serve as a primary customer service Professional for Mobile Mining spare parts and field service for the global install base of Siemens AC drive systems for electric rope shovels, draglines and haul trucks. You will partner with our customers to meet the demands of the global mobile mining industry with timely supply of OEM parts and services. Collaboration across our internal teams, both domestic and international, will be the key to your success as we strive to exceed customer expectations. In this role you will report to the Mobile Mining Customer Service Manager and be a key part of supporting the growth of the Mobile Mining customer service business. What You’ll Do: Process customer purchase orders Supervise personal mailbox for incoming purchase orders or requests from customers Monitor team mailbox for incoming purchase orders or requests from customers Supervise SAP workflow for incoming EDI orders In coordination with IT, resolve issues for inbound electronic orders Assist with set up of new electronic customer interfaces Review purchase orders for accurate pricing and terms Communicate discrepancies to customer and acquire clean orders Enter customer purchase orders in SAP § Choose appropriate order type as required by product or service ordered § Create service orders for cost collection as required Provide customer order confirmations Update and invoice sales orders in SAP Update customer web portals for our customer base Coordinate with factory or warehouse for emergency requirements Continuous review of order backlog Daily review of order backlog to maintain accurate customer order status Follow up with warehouse for inbound and outbound shipment status Connect with customers for delivery improvements or delays Work with Procurement team for external party supplier delivery dates Follow up with internal teams for status of purchased services Customer Quotations Review requirements from customer RFQ and obtain additional information Request support from internal teams for technical or logistic clarification Obtain pricing from internal sources or tools for Siemens manufactured products Request support from Procurement team for new or updated external supplier offers Prepare calculation for quote approval Submit quotes for approval per Siemens guidelines Prepare and submit quotations to customer upon approval Customer Support Provide customer support via telephone, email and web meetings Respond to customer email and voicemail messages in timely manner Address customer expedite requests Research discrepancies for customer shipments Support accounts receivable issues Issue customer credits Assist import/export activities Attend internal customer meetings Maintain internal tools for tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Who You Are: Team Player: With a positive demeanor and team first approach, you drive high achievement for yourself and your team through teamwork and best practice sharing.
