ABB Turbocharging manufactures and maintains turbochargers for engines on ships, power stations, diesel locomotives and large, off-highway vehicles. We focus on how to help our customers today, while driving innovation in anticipation of future challenges.

This is an Order Processing role reporting to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager in the Business Area - Process Automation located in Chongqing, China.

Your responsibilities

• Being responsible for domestic forwarder handling activity in China Turbo Systems Jiangjin (CNTUS JJ), being responsible for achievement of turbochargers and parts shipping in time and arriving on time, both quantity and quality of sales turbochargers and parts to customers or SBC and also for all relevant service support after the goods delivery.
• Taking overall responsibility of order processing activity for certain segments of turbochargers or service parts in CNTUS JJ operation plant, achievement of delivery /shipping/ arriving on time, with right quantity / good quality / competitive cost to customers. Being thoroughly responsibility of tracking, monitoring, analyzing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of on time Delivery (OTD) and forecast accuracy. Pressing the forecast data closer to actual.
• Taking overall responsibility of communication with sales engineers or order processing of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) & Service Business Center (SBC). Tracking and monitoring any changes of Sales Order (SO) and forecast (FC) demand on weekly base, evaluating the forecast reliability, and counter checking Sales Order (SO) and forecast (FC) in SAP accordingly.
• Based on analysis of historical actual Vs forecast, challenging our sales forecast to push the forecast data more reasonable & reliable, closer to actual. As a member of FET (Forecast Evaluation Team), taking overall responsibility of sales forecast hand over from operation. Counter checking Planning Independent Request (PIR) general plan make to stock (MTS) of turbochargers and parts with planning team leader.
• Establishing and maintaining a database of SO+FC demand of China Turbochargers (CNTUS), analyzing statistically the forecast accuracy, and tracking the competence of forecast on engine segments and customers, monitoring the competence of forecast in right direction. Taking overall responsibility of measuring and tracking On Time Delivery (OTD) of turbochargers and parts, optimizing it more accurately and efficiently in system. Considering KPI of OTD / Forecast accuracy / Actual delivery record of lead time by each type of turbocharger, evaluating standard lead time of CNTUS JJ plant for each turbocharger type on yearly base. For some key customers required shorter lead time, evaluating lead time individually.
• Tracking / monitoring / statistical analysis KPI of OTD / Forecast accuracy / Actual delivery record of lead time, drive the shortening lead time in right direction, to meet market demand, and more competitive Receiving the inquiry of the delivery demand from sales team and sending to the relevant planner for enquiry the availability. Sharing feedback of inquiry or acknowledge of sales orders for the delivery time to sales engineer in time. Being responsible for counter checking transportation cost and acknowledging of transportation expenses from shipping agent.
• Coaching and developing the team in order processing & work planning skill, Doing the PDA assessment and develop plan for them, performing other special projects assigned by superior.

Your background

• A bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience.
• Good statistic / analytical / reporting skill.
• Should have team-oriented style of working, ability to work under greater pressure, strong sense of responsibility, strong coordination skills, good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with office software, SAP systems, and MS-excel skills.
• Familiar with the logistic processes and master the rules and regulations for domestic forwarding.
• Ability to speak / read / write and communicate in English and Mandarin.
