The opportunity:
AIA Australia has an ambitious agenda to transform to a customer and digitally enabled organisation. Key to this transformation, is also transforming our people and organisation to ensure we can deliver on this ambition and these newly created roles in our People & Culture function will be a key contributor to this.
As one of three new Organisation Design Partners, you will be responsible for facilitating and delivering the end to end organisation design and implementation for a portfolio, working closely with business leaders, P&C Business Partners and the relevant Finance Partners. This will be a highly consultative and collaborative and will enable senior leaders to design and implement the appropriate design to support their business. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders on multiple designs to truly make a difference to AIA’s Organisation of the Future.

To do this successfully you will:
Facilitate the development of detailed organisation design for significant areas of the business, ensuring it will enable the delivery of the transformation agenda and deliver to the enterprise organisation design principles
Identify and align on directions for change, translating high level blueprints into full organisation designs that will meet the business requirements
Add facilitating workshops as required to ensure clarity of roles, accountabilities and ways of working
Document organisation design, functions, activities, and interdependencies by team and role as required
Identify risks and implementation considerations for proposed design
Work with leaders to help prepare approval packs for endorsement of Org design
With leaders, complete individual impact assessments based on the organisation design
Utilising existing collateral and working with the Change leader, prepare communication materials for implementation
Successful applications will have:
Degree qualified in HR/business and relevant HR functional knowledge across different HR areas and operational experience
Demonstrated experience in organisation design from conceptual through to implementation
Understanding of organisations and roles including solid foundation in job analysis and documentation
Excellent facilitation skills to enable you to lead design workshops
Numerate – works well with spreadsheets to enable effective costing and analysis of proposed structures
Strong change and communications experience in leading leaders through the communication and implementation of changes
Mercer IPE experience preferred but not required
