Siemens Financial Services is seeking an entrepreneurial investor in the EMEA region who will be responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, investment execution and value-creation when managing the asset as part of Equity’s new Negative Emissions Technology investment team, which is driving investments as part of Siemens broader decarbonization agenda. This person will generate pipeline leads, create investment term sheets, run investment negotiations, and draft investment documents summarizing the business rationale and key due diligence findings. Beyond investing, the position will also involve elements of Business Development and Program Management involvement, as this newly developed team builds its portfolio, while also demonstrating early value creation for portfolio companies to leverage the resources of Siemens to accelerate growth. This position can be based in Munich, Erlangen or London. What part will you play? You will interact with entrepreneurs, investors, and investment partnerships to generate and manage organic deal pipelines In addition, you will act as a subject matter expert on both deal structuring and NET technologies You will assess opportunities and risks in potential investments as well as lead due diligence and transaction execution The conduction of financial assessment of new investment opportunities is also part of your tasks You manage the assets after closing to drive value creation and scaling of these companies Representation of the deal team at industry and stakeholder events is part of your responsibilities You collaborate with internal Siemens teams to identify emerging use-cases, create awareness of portfolio company offerings, and align joint roadmap opportunities What you need to make real what matters.
