Outdoor Products QA Officer (Shanghai, China)

Our client, a world leading retail group with global operations, is looking for an Outdoor Products QA Officer for their Shanghai Offices.  

The new hire will become a part of the company’s dynamic Product Quality Assurance team.  

Role Purpose:

The Outdoor Products QA Officer will ensure products are evaluated, tested and approved (sealed) in accordance with group standards and mandatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure products are evaluated, tested and approved (sealed) in accordance with group standards and mandatory requirements.
• Ensure that full factory audit and approval on potential suppliers is carried out in accordance with group policy with corrective action plan in place.
• Ensure that all relevant inspection criteria (checklist, specification, QA report etc) and sealed sample are made available to the QC inspectors prior to production and inspection.
• Ensure customer complaints and supplier issues are managed and resolved with the supplier.
• Ad. hoc project as assigned by Management

Qualifications:

• College graduate.
• Min. 3 years’ experience related QA working experience in retail business, 3rd party, buying office, trading Office, or factory.
• Product knowledge of Camping products (e.g. tent, sleeping bag, camping furniture, camping cookware/dinnerware, outing accessories…) / Furniture / soft home
• Experience in buying office will be a plus
• Strong technical and testing knowledge and skill
• Strong communication skills & good at problem solving
• Proficiency in both written / spoken English
• Understanding of Australian market will be a plus
