Responsibilities

• Cultivating long-term, in-depth partnership with universities, faculty members, and students at the computer science and engineering departments of the top universities in China.
• Implementing Outreach programs in Alumni program, talent fostering and academic exchanges.
• Establishing Microsoft Search Technology Center Asia (STCA) branding in universities in China.
• Building trusted relations with University student clubs, alumni around the world, and proactively working with alumni committee through regular communication.
• Making business plans, managing budgets and measuring success metrics.
• Organizing academic events and executive visits for Microsoft Search Technology Center Asia (STCA) and giving talks at many of the events.
• Owning Microsoft Search Technology Center Asia (STCA) intern program by driving the whole process and by establishing the intern program as Microsoft Search Technology Center Asia (STCA) solid talent pool.
• Leading Microsoft Search Technology Center Asia (STCA) Operation team to support the campus recruiting effort by reaching yearly hiring target.

Qualifications

• Excellent relationship building and communication skills. With ability to plan strategically and create win/win situations which will benefit both academic partners and Microsoft.
• Ability to work independently. Effectiveness in achieving results through individual and cross team efforts.
• Demonstrated ability to identify strategic opportunities and provide appropriate solutions.
• Strong presentation, project management and business/development skills are essential.
• Good knowledge of MS products and technologies
• Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese communication skills required.
• Travel required.
• Experience in University Relation a plus.
