Today, we are recruiting for the Overhead Catenary System Installation Supervisor position to join our Project Team in Egypt. What are my responsibilities? • Internal coordination to verify and ensure readiness of site for installation through site surveys • Supervision of installation at sitde during installation process of the poles, accessories, and wires for the OCS in accordance with the Contract and design documents • Lead your team at sitde • Monitor the progress of installation activities • Follow up of Progress report / Field instruction • Report any material damages as well as inspect and analyze damages • Reporting and Documentation of Site / Section Status • Review installation red mark drawings and as built drawings • Preparation and submission of progress reports • Preparing and updating of Time Schedule (installation part) according to project requirement • Check all used material for quantity verification and conduct quality checks on incoming / outgoing • Familiarizes himself with the project technical specifications and ensures that the specifications requirements are adhered to laisse with the owners / internal inspector or his representative • Providing and checking on method statements, performing all checks on required EHS documents and attend toolbox talks • Ensure that Siemens Environment, Health and Safety policies are complied with during the execution • Predominantly based on sites along the e-HSR project What do I need to qualify for this job? • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical education from reputable college or other educational institutions • Minimum 5 years site experience in similar function • Dealt with governmental public sector companies • Attended EHS trainings like: OHSAS, NFPA 70, Electric Code, Lockout – Tag out procedures, Safe Lifting would be of benefit • Fair knowledge of contracts with good command of business writing • Previous experience and practice with handover procedures, preferably with the governmental sector projects • Knowledge in preparing installations methods statement • Professional in reading and applying the shop and construction drawings • Basic Knowledge and practice of Microsoft office • Practiced supervision on subcontractors • Intercultural experience • English - Professional negotiation level required.
