Job Description
The role of the Product & Market Support Technologist is to deliver Technical Support tasks by directly support Sales and Technical Service Engineers in solving customer issues in application hence to support Castrol Industrial Business in building up customers' confidence on Castrol Product and Service. The technologist is also need to support QA/QC activities in managing all Castrol Products being placed in China Market.

The primary responsibility of this role is the leadership and the administration of HSSE management to the Castrol China Technology Centre (CCTC) in Shanghai in support of the automotive, industrial, marine and energy market sectors.

? Growth
  • Customer Engagement by building up customer relationship together with front line staff
  • Conduct necessary training to direct reports, front line staff, distributors and customers
  • Industry Engagement & Advocacy
  • Support front line staff in conducting customer trials and generate trial reports with technical service engineers
  • Conduct activities on Claim & Demo and show up differentiations between Castrol products and competitors
  • Product Launch Support and Support sales team to get new business
? Efficiency
  • Support sales and technical service engineers on Technical Lab./Field Support
  • Conduct non-Routine Testing and interpretation of UOA results
  • Conduct non-routine testing for specific customer requirements and troubleshootings.
  • Analytical test development and implementation
  • Analysis/benchmarking of competitor products
? Quality/Compliance
  • Work with QA/QC team and technical service engineers to make sure that products in China market are managed under Quality Assurance;
  • To solve customer complaints and queries

  • Learn from team leader and during working to develop to be able to work independently;

Degree in Scientific Subject (Chemistry/Engineering)
