The vision of the Global Finance Services (GFS) Purchase to Pay (P2P) team is to make buying and paying effective and effortless for our business and to be the customer of choice to our suppliers. In order to deliver that we need to further simplify, standardise and automate our processes

In this role, you will work with stakeholders across the support model to drive all service and supplier management activities in relation to the systems supporting P2P processes to ensure that these are delivered in accordance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Accountable for running P2P projects (systems) to support internal partners with little disruption on daily business

• Drive issue resolutions across supplier teams.

• Provision of customer and service insight in a clear and concise manner to key partners to support decision making, customer communications, vendor management and support continuous service improvement.

• Conduct current state assessments, develop and implement gap resolution plans

• Support users with post implementation procedural or system issues

• Remain current with market trends through relationships with suppliers and market specialists; identify and communicate new technologies and solutions to key problems in the systems area

• Collaborate effectively across different levels, functions, businesses, and geographies to realize business goals and objectives (Finance, IT and the wider business)

Process & technology governance and continuous improvement

• Implements global template and design standards; identify and raise (if vital) process deviations that are not driven by local, regulatory or tax considerations

• Drive the development and updates of global training materials

• Define, implement and supervise metrics to identify improvement opportunities, service gaps and key trends

• Solid ability to resolve issues partnering with technical, procurement, finance teams and vendors to implement change as the need arises.

Essential for the role

• You are qualified at a university degree level and meaningful experience in the domain area.

• Experience of supporting and delivering changes across SAP, Ariba, Concur and Coupa P2P systems (or similar)

• You can lead multiple projects/tasks optimally.

• You have strong communications, delivery, influencing power and will connect with all levels of stakeholders management to drive a change agenda to delivery and benefits

• Detailed understanding of Finance and Procurement processes

• Experience in handling and developing 3rd party business relationships

• Solid grasp of systems and business solutions that drive business value.

• Seek sophisticated problems in which analysis of data or situations require in-depth evaluation
