Job Title:
Senior Associate Resource Coordinator 

Overall Purpose of Role Coordinates and administers all resource management functions that enable the Translation and Resourcing teams to deliver high quality results. Applies extensive knowledge of translation processes and procedures as well as resource management skills to ensure effective resourcing of translation projects.
Key Responsibilities

 Operational Excellence – Creates and maintains a network of freelance translators that meet the requirements of the projects/sector/vertical (e.g., skills, experience, availability.) Monitors freelancers to ensure high performance, efficiency and effectiveness (e.g., engages new translators to compliment the skill mix, monitors performance, ensures assignments leverage skills and provide opportunity for development.) Efficiently executes and/or coordinates processes to ensure resourcing is on-time, on-budget and high quality (e.g., quotes, purchase orders, invoicing/payments, vendor management.) Assists with recruitment activities (e.g., attending interviews.) Actively contributes to the project team, especially on high-profile and/or large accounts. Supports project activities such as file analysis and preparation, sending prepared information to freelance translators.

 Delivers Quality, Value, Results – Regularly monitors KPIs (e.g., utilization, performance, profitability) and adjusts plans and tactics to improve results. Assesses risks and past projects to identify opportunities to improve quality and results (e.g., streamline processes, tools, methodologies, planning.) Provides guidance and support to project team and/or junior team members on the use of tools/methodologies that best address the requirements of a specific project.

 Functional Excellence – Further develops in-depth vertical/sector knowledge and skills. Helps build functional and vertical knowledge within the broader team by sharing knowledge on-the job, training new employees, managing/mentoring interns and coordinators.

 Relationship Building – Cultivates strong relationships with the external freelance network frequently touching base, clearly communicating project details, and understanding individual skills and interests. Builds credibility with project teams by clearly understanding requirements, providing guidance on resource selection, and proactively handling issues.
Additional Job Specific Responsibilities Local variations may apply. Project Coordination In certain countries the role may focus primarily on project coordination activities, and internal liaison with colleagues in the translation and PMO teams, as well as with freelancers. Activities such as the recruitment of free lancers, rate negotiation and invoicing/payments may not be undertaken.
