PASTRY SOUS CHEF FOR SOUTH ASIAN CUISINE
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and execute unique pastry and baking recipes
- Develop customized cakes and bakes goods for events and special occasions
- Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
- Train the pastry team on techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Develop specialized menus and manage the pastry program for our South Asian concept restaurants
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of pastry experience in highly rated restaurants with robust pastry programmes
- International experience with ability to manage and spearhead pastry programmes for various cuisines, including South Asian, Indian, and Middle Eastern
- Ability to mentor and coach a team of pastry cooks with varying levels of experience
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with restaurant teams and guests

- Sous Chef: 1 year (Preferred)
