We’re looking for a Distribution Account Manager to join our award-winning
Channel Sales Team. In this role you’ll be responsible for increasing the
share of wallet, managing the end to end SISO process and relationships (Sales
Floor through operational management to director level) within named
Distribution partner(s).
These are your detailed responsibilities:
• Build annual Business Plans related to both the partner and Lenovo’s
Distribution Strategy
• Design and execute strategic QTR business plan aligning Market intelligence
with: Campaign (Product), forecast and inventory management achieving market
share ambitions
• Integrate all Business Units into distribution plans including SMB, Mid-
Market, Enterprise, Public Sector, Global and Consumer
• Ownership and implementation of quarterly marketing plans driving demand
generation
• Own ongoing analysis of metrics & business performance to produce weekly
report for business presentation & relevant actions with recommendations
• Build, maintain and develop programs to accelerate growth and achieve
financial targets
• Maintain expertise on focus products and overall industry trends
You’ll report to the Distribution Sales Manager supporting our distribution
partners. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and
meetings.
#### Position Requirements:
We are looking for a recognized, highly motivated, and successful account
manager who has a winning history in IT Distribution. You’ll have:
• Experience with IT Distribution (PC hardware could be an advantage)
• Minimum 5 years proven sales experience selling hardware within the Channel
• Track record in building and executing business development plans
• Self-motivated and pro-active mentality
• Energetic, sales driven and a “must win” attitude
• Proven face to face sales track record
• Presentation and communication skills
• Commercial understanding of Distribution
• The ability to travel as required to our Partners and Customers locations
Desirable Requirements:
• A good communicator with excellent personal appearance
• Experience of standard CRM and office application usage
• Able to learn quickly & would suit a candidate looking to develop further
within a sales career.
• Must have good skills in working as a team and on own initiative.
• Can work well under pressure and would look to problem solve
