This is a position at Intel Germany site in Munich, joining a team of ca. 12 engineers working on different fields of PDK development, product support, and design automation. The process design kit (PDK) is a collection of software files describing the process technology for CAD tools, which are needed to enable schematic as well as physical layout.
As team member, you will be responsible for different parts with the responsibility of driving alignments/schedules for dedicated tasks, for example techfiles, layout and schematic libraries, design/layout methods, general implementation strategies for new requests (analogue/mixed-signal or digital driven) as well as for the automated test procedures. The team supports all foundry technology nodes used within Intel design teams, like FinFET. In this position continuous learning is mandatory as you will be confronted with many new challenges during your daily work (e.g. additional design rules, new device types, and new verification and design methodologies like high-voltage concepts, multi-power domains, and new parasitic effects).
An excellent background in semiconductors is required, as you will work in close interaction with device modeling experts, library development teams (standard cells, IO, memory) as well as with product designers and layout/mask designers.

Qualifications
Degree (BS/MS) in electrical engineering, material sciences, physics, chemistry, or equivalent experience
Knowledge of foundry PDK requirements like FinFET is beneficial
Design skills (digital or analogue/mixed-signal) would be highly beneficial
Pursuing highest quality standards
Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills needed
Demonstrated proficient documentations skills
Must be able to work on multiple tasks concurrently.
Interest in software development/scripting is required and knowledge of Perl, Python, or Tcl is beneficial.
Experience with Windows 10, Office 365 and UNIX/LINUX systems is required
