• Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can choose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with Arm and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry-standard design packages.
• Intel Foundry Services is looking for PDK Development Manager who will lead Engineering teams working on different fields of PDK development (DRC, LVS, RC Extraction, EM/IR, Pcell/Pycell, etc), product support, and design automation. As a team member, you will be responsible for different parts with the responsibility of driving alignments/schedules for dedicated tasks. In this position, continuous learning is mandatory as you will be confronted with many new challenges during your daily work. An excellent background in semiconductors is required, as you will work in close interaction with experts in many different areas.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum:

• BS/MS/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study.
• 7+ years of foundry PDK or related working experience

Strong expertise in any one or multiple of the following areas:

• DRC/LVS/RC Extraction/EM
• PDK development and QC
• Pcell/Pycell development
• EDA tools solutions, optimization, application.
• EDA tools vendor engagement
• Data Structures, algorithms, and software engineering practices
• Software scripting languages C/C++, Python, PERL, or TCL
• Unix/Linux operating systems
• Design skills (digital or AMS) would be highly beneficial
• Pursuing highest quality standards
• Excellent communication skills needed
• Demonstrated proficient documentations skills

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
