- Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, PDK design components, and/or methodologies used in design automation and by teams in the design of hardware products, process design, or manufacturing
- Capturing user stories/requirements
- Writing both functional and test code
- Automating build and deployment, and/or performing unit, integration, and endtoend testing of the software tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant scientific STEM major
- 4+ years of professional experience
Experience must be in the following areas:
- Schematic and layout features in custom layout tools like Synopsys Custom Compiler or Cadence Virtuoso
- Foundry process technology knowledge in advance nodes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Custom technology file development or customization.
- Parameterized cell devices (e.g., pcells or pycells)
- OpenAccess data model is helpful

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
