Your responsibilities:

§ Design and develop inverter/converter power electronics for new energy vehicle applications xxx

§ Capture and manage inverter/converter hardware requirements, developing into specifications; schematics, PCB layouts and drawings, ensuring alignment between internal team(s), suppliers and the customer,

§ Design and develop inverter/converter hardware, including gate drivers, control boards, DC link components selection and characterization of power modules, thermal and cooling designs,

§ Follow industry standard techniques to ensure a robust design, e.g. FMEA. Conduct design verification and validation activity at both component and system level,

§ Support the HW design and testing for various hofer products.

Your Authority:

§ Management of hardware design of the PEU

§ The layout design and verification release authority of the PEU

§ The authority of Assist other departments in hardware design of the PEU

Your profile:

§ Bachelor degree and above in a relevant engineering field. A minimum of 5 years' power electronics design experience in an automotive or similar engineering field xxx

§ Strong knowledge of power electronics, analogue and digital circuits, familiar with IGBT and future power switching technologies, experienced user of electronic circuit design software and simulation packagesxxx

§ Good understanding of automotive HV standards, experience of designing power electronics in accordance with ISO26262 Functional Safety processes and concepts, willing to support the HW design and testing for various hofer products

§ Fluency in Chinese and English, German is a plus
