Objective of job
Coordination of all RD- and OV-related activities for Daimler passenger cars on New BEV Projects MidSize Vehicles. Capability to lead as Project Lead Development (PLE) all required development activities according MDS(future) incl. the PbP lead vehicle of a new platform (e.g. C@BEV or GLC@BEV). Safeguard the passing of relevant project milestones in terms of maturity, costs and time.
Communication and Coordination of tasks between the responsible Engineers / Model- and Commodity Groups / Commodity Group Leader and Proj.Management in China and Germany.
Task description
1. Information sharing about all RD-related questions. Collection of status and follow up of Problemsolving through e.g. engineering changes. If needed lead of a task force.
Participate and share status in all kinds of related project meetings.
2. Lead RD China through the Digital and Hardware phase by following the MDS(future).
Main contact person for the responsible PLE’s in Germany for all questions regarding China. Sharing of the information within the local organisation and follow up.
3. Collaboration with the CGL and other project leaders to reach all RD related project targets.

4. Alignment and Support / Reporting to related meetings in the Project, the German decisionmaking gremiums and Plant meetings.

5. Follow up relevant engineering changes and respective documentation.
6. Coordinate activities and tasks for a successful RD Release. All tests are done in time and result is shared in the respective meetings. RD Release can be given in time.
