***This vacancy is not RB Hire. It's a contractor position lasting for 1-2 years only.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Receive basic training around PLM authorisations and access concept
Be the point of contact between the Central Training Team and site Super Users, so that SUs’ activity is locally supported and accounted for in the deployment project plan.
Coordinate the completion of the PLM access mapping template (mapping end users to PLM job roles), liaising with Super Users and the deployment team
Help alleviate any high Segregation of Duties (SoD) risks and other quality-related risks around the assignment of access to users
With the support of the deployment team, complete the local education and training needs analysis (TNA) so that the training load can be determined, and additional trainer support can be secured (locally or through the deployment team). Support the Super Users to confirm the training package which each end user role requires (including whether training should be classroom-based on on-the-job).
Work with local HR and central PLM team to confirm training delivery methods (eg classroom, on the job)
Advise on translation requirements and support local translation coordination (if required)
Allocate end users to training courses in alignment with the completed access mapping
Develop and manage the local education and training delivery schedule, including facilities planning, invitations, monitoring attendance (for Super User and Key User training if required, as well as for end user training)
Use the Learning Management System (LMS) (or local variant) to track completion of education and training requirements so that system access can be released to individual users (by the central PLM team)
Manage activities to ensure all users meet required competence level
Report on completion of the training programme and competence requirements (as part of business readiness tracking for go-live)
Post Go-live ResponsibilitiesSupport access related queries upon go-live with assistance of the central team (validating user access mapping queries during intensive support)
Understand and operate the post go-live Access Request support processes (including leavers process) and support the business with general access queries. (Note that Support Team/Central team grant access to PLM itself, on the receipt of relevant training records and approvals.)
Act as point of contact between site and Central Training Team for the:
- coordination and maintenance of training package updates to ensure they stay aligned with SOPs and are updated to reflect any solution changes – using the LMS or local system.
- Confirmation of end user competence to enable system access (backed up by Super Users and Key Users)
Assist with follow-on PLM deployment and role mapping for new functionality to live sites
Professional Qualifications/Experience:
Ideally, has operated in a similar role before, either in training or authorisations or both
Can bring an analytical approach and eye for detail.
Open-minded about improving ways of working.
Demonstrates good communication and influencing skills both verbally and written.
Possesses general awareness of the processes operated across the site.
Fluent in SAP \ERP transactions.
Excellent English and local site language skills, both verbal and written.
Organised and methodical in general approach to work.
Analytical approach
Established relationships with key stakeholders across the site.
Tenacity, tough-mindedness and an ability to influence others.
Self-motivated, detail oriented, highly organised, and be able to easily interface and collaborate with deployment team members – having a “can-do” approach and style of operation.
Determined and resilient to identify resolutions to issues within own span of control
Strong Excel skills
