Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Material planning: Be familiar with MRP logic. Analyzes material demand according to customer forecast, and runs material shortage and co-works with buyer team on appropriate material delivery plan, as well as good inventory days.

2. Capacity planning: Co-works with internal team for long-time and short time production capacity plan according to customer forecast or official PO.

3. Production planning: Make master monthly plan/ weekly plan / daily production plan basing on capacity and material plan, works with engineer and production to achieve optimal capacity.

4. Shipping plan: Makes / updates ship plan basing on production plan and customer real demand, communicates with Customer to ensure commitment dates are achieved.

5. Provides daily status reports of all delivery requirements. Acts as the focal point for schedule information and adjustments with inputs from the internal customers.

6. Coordinates and implements Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in production.

7. Develops and manages customer support plans to minimize Work-In-Process (WIP) and Finished Goods (FG) inventory where appropriate.

8. Works with upper level managers on system improvement.

9. Other assignments from the management.

Qualifications:

1. In-depth understanding of SAP or Material Requirements Planning (MRP), planning functions, and shop floor processes and materials.

2. Ability to effectively interpret and summarize statistical reports.

3. Know or able to learn the materials and assembly process in a quick manner.

4. Data sensitive, proactive with good time management skills to handle multiple tasks.

5. Good communication skills, with reading and written skills of English.

6. Excellent computer skills, including accurate data entry and experience with MS software such as Word, Excel, PPT and so on , experience on JDE or SAP system will be an advantage.
