ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Role Purpose: provide leadership to enable project management teams within APAC Life Sciences to implement language solutions to clients that maximize revenue potential, utilization and productivity, resulting in excellent customer satisfaction.  Apply leadership and business expertise in providing strategic and tactical direction across his/her organization.

  • Deliver client services through partnership with production and sales teams
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Language Delivery and Engineering departments to ensure successful delivery of work
  • Manage delivery team of 30+ project managers, with responsibility for coaching, development and training
  • Lead relationships with relevant internal production teams and external partners
  • Contribute to the overall strategic definition of the function with strong business acumen
  • Own a significant number of measurable functional, operational and strategic goals or priorities
  • Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people
  • Provide support for Sales in relation to existing and new business
  • Monitor Sales forecast and strategy Account planning and scheduling of volumes
  • Manage cost control processes
  • Carry out risk assessments
  • Sustain growth across multiple teams through coordination of team leads and production support
  • Ensure compliance of team's activity to RWS’ processes and procedures
  • Manage and improve service management metrics and Best Practices

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated success in a managerial position in a large/complex organisation (minimum 8 years’ experience)  with strong focus on service (project) delivery
  • Demonstrated success in quantifiable service improvement results
  • Proven effective relationships with clients, IT, Operations, Sales and external vendors
  • Proven skills in partnering, budget attainment, project leadership and change management
  • Expertise in the language service OR Life Sciences  industry and market segments
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in English (plus preferred one or more additional APAC languages)
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
