About R2R

The GBS R2R function provides strategic and operational financial information that indicates how Philips is performing. The team ensures that accurate and timely financial statements are made available to stakeholders by performing a range of financial activities aimed at enhancing the decision making process. These activities include recording, reconciling, closing, consolidating and reporting the business transactions of Philips globally. As part of the R2R team in GBS Chennai, you join a high-performance organization spread across 11 COEs that is at the heart of Philips’ Finance, enabling our company to succeed every day.

Overview/profile of role:

The role will involve someone who is passionate about working across with various groups/ teams across geographies and delivers with quick turnaround. The individual will oversee and drive strategic business projects/initiatives to completion. The work will involve identifying potential areas of opportunity and provide insightful inputs on how to solution these problems. The individual will bring in data insights for better decision making.

Qualifications: Any Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree

Skills and experience required:

• Project Management

• (PMP) Certified

• Governance

• Stake holder Mgt

• Managing Finance project

• -Draw insightful conclusions from various data analytics & thereby enabling senior leaders to make impactful decisions

• -Designing & Developing executive level communications and presentations on strategic, operational and financial information

• -Evaluate and recommend frameworks for building solutions that are scalable across wider operational functions with a keen eye on standardization, rationalization and focus on efficiency

• -Drive automation & Analytics culture across the working group

• -Contribute and motivate working groups towards vitality and innovations on ideas resulting in efficiencies

• -Drive continuous improvement and leverage Business Management Best Practices. Demonstrate commitment to excellence, high quality standards, and attention to detail

• -Conduct and present research and analysis, including market, competitive, economic, industry trends. Analyze and synthesize secondary research; lead primary intelligence gathering as needed

• -Build & Maintain effective relationships with all the stakeholders across geographies

• -Ensure the logic, accuracy, and appropriate scope of fact-bases with which to inform strategic analyses

• -Develop content for and coordinate executive workshops and socialization

• -Develop recommendations and approaches for strategic and operational improvements
