The role: PR Manager / Assistant Manager - Internal Com , Taiwan
As a Manager / Assistant Manager in Communication Department, this role will be appointed as the crucial role to support PR leads for planning and promoting Yahoo TV, XR creative contents in the coming 5G era, internal comms and culture engagement, developing narratives and managing issues. This role will also be the principal Comms contact window to external parties and media for video and mobile industry-related topics, speaking opportunities and media inquiry.
To achieve the above-mentioned goals, the role has to work closely with TW & International leadership team, marketers and cross-functional key stakeholders to sell her/his concepts and recommendations based on knowledge acquired of key business milestones, initiatives, challenges, market competition and journalists’ interests.
Responsibilities :
- Work with PR leads to develop PR plan and key message map inclusive of cross-platforms horizontal views
- Assist leader to develop “corp. thought Leadership” agenda-setting and implementation by devising press events/speeches/materials
- Work with cross-functional leaders to ensure communication plans are in line with business strategy.
- Work with global/APAC and TW Communications team in compliance with policies, guidelines, approval and internal activations
- Support PR leads for the issue and crisis management
- Support PR team's daily reporting and assigned projects
Preferred qualifications :
- 5-8 years of relevant experience with proven track records and ability in public relations, media relations or communications
- Exceptional problem-solving and creative thinking to drive for results
- Strong communication to manage cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated project management skills and be able to manage multiple projects given tight deadlines
- Experiences or knowledge in online business will be plus
- Experienced as a media or well-known PR agency will be plus
- Fluent English and Mandarin
