Job Title:   NYX Professional Makeup PRO Artist 

Function: Sales Direct

FLSA status:   Non-Exempt 

Division:              NYX PMU 

Supervisor Title:  Senior Manager of Training & Development 

Location:   Field Force/Remote 

Section 2:  Job Summary

Responsible for consumer experience across Digital Engagement Platform(s). Work closely with key partners to develop and execute written/video/image content for multiple social platforms. Build strong relationships with key retail accounts to drive retail sales through live selling, training & facilitation. Provide video and written documents to support training as required. Provide education, artistry and trend perspective for launches and/or animation strategies.  Actively participate in discussions & share feedback regarding competitive landscape & emerging trends across the beauty industry.  

Section 3:  Job Requirements 

1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in cosmetic industry 

2. Self -motivated, results oriented, creative, strategic thinker 

3. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills 

4. Analytical in approach to identifying business/training opportunities 

5. Proven experience in training sales staff, with emphasis on engagement to build advocates  

6. Results and Solutions Oriented 

7. Proficient computer skills necessary – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 

8. Well versed on all social media and digital platforms & content creation requirements

Digital Engagement Platforms 

Connect with consumers on modiface platform, hosting 1:1 consultations and bookable appointments. Guide consumers and share artistry expertise on product, application and make recommendations to ensure high satisfaction and sales. Respond to consumers directly on our CCC platforms and be functional expert. Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies. Meet key KPI indicators as required.

Content Creation 

Responsible for creating high energy, educational and entertaining content to be used across all social media platforms. Includes both short and long videos, still photography. Work with key partners to develop and execute to reach desired target audience. Must always be able to convey authenticity and brand image. Strong ability to engage with audience effectively. Must possess strong editing skills and demonstrate clear understanding and knowledge of social media platforms. Ensure that content objectives in briefs are met.

Liveselling/Eventing 

Work directly within key retail territories or metropolitan markets in retail stores. Foster and build strong retailer relationships. Actively work with key partners on sales and training strategies to drive results. Develop, implement and execute training opportunities as necessary to meet store goals. Maintain displays when on-site, providing merchandising support as required. Responsible for providing exceptional customer service, sharing the latest product, trend, and beauty techniques as you drive sales and meet individual KPI’s. Support cross-brand selling environment. Support virtual and in-person events and experiences. Communication regarding merchandising, inventory and business performance/opportunities, including competitive feedback - shared weekly.  Prepare and execute brand beauty consultations, sampling & makeup application, if applicable.

Media & Communication 

Provide weekly feedback including sales performance in retail stores, content/trends, marketing, merchandising and educational needs. Provide written content or quotes for blogs, training materials or videos as assigned. Share product, artistry, content, education, or strategy feedback as requested.
