VON ARDENNE needs a capable, motivated Production Planner to carrying out all tasks related to planning and preparing production schedules for manufacturing of industrial equipment of VON ARDENNE. The successful candidate of this position will draw up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to customer orders. The Production Planner will work with an open communication culture and in a dynamic working atmosphere and will report directly to the Sr. Operation planner at VON ARDENNE Vacuum Equipment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.‘

YOUR TASKS

• Definition of workflows including specification of material, technical process sequences, work systems, test steps and determination of project schedule;

• Taking responsibility for the project flow in production with regard to:

  • Execution of material availability and quality checks,

  • Coordination of Change notices and reworks,

  • Preparation of the detailed project planning and coordination of the necessary capacities,

  • Compilation of documents for production and assembly orders and release notification,

  • Coordination of the material transfer of assemblies or ready-to-ship-out units with the downstream processes;

  • Determination of the manufacturing costs as well as comparison and evaluation of the cost development of production orders;

  • Identification and definition of work packages and adaptation of the project structure to the planned assembly processes in coordination with the Project Manager;

• Layout planning of own factory and outsource production area

• Contribute to cost reduction projects as well as to the planning, development and improvement of work processes in cooperation with other departments.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in technical, scientific or related industrial engineering field;

• 3+ year working experience in manufacturing industry

• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (assembly planning, work design, product calculation,

  time management);

• Basic knowledge regarding ERP systems, preferably SAP (module PP/mm/QM);

• Basic spoken and written English;

• Communication skills, outstanding team spirit and and willingness to exchange knowledge;

• Strong analytical thinking and planning skills;

• Excellent time management and organizational skills;

• High level of loyalty, mobility and flexibility
